Dr. Capraro has a particular affection for our feline friends (read "cat crazy").  She loves all aspects of primary and preventative care, including dentistry, nutrition, and surgery.
When Dr. Capraro is not busy with veterinary medicine, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Capraro lives in southern NH with her three cats Bellatrix, Huckleberry, and Magenta.

Dr. Capraro is doing a residency to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in canine and feline practice. SNVH is one of a few nationwide hospitals granted recognition to host residents for this program!
Dr. Amy Capraro received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Guelph Ontario Veterinary College.

Many of you may already know her, since she actually worked at SNVH as an assistant, receptionist, and pre-veterinary intern for many years!  She attended the University of New Hampshire where she earned her bachelor's degree in biomedical science.  She was drawn back to the Seacoast after veterinary school and fit perfectly into our team again.
